The Challenge

Murad’s demand for data insights was growing, but the business had duplicate views of sales reporting, inconsistent data models, and ungoverned flat-file feeds. That led to slow answers and low trust. Adding retailers or refreshing data took too long, with file sizes near one gigabyte.

What we built (implementation)

1. A complete redesign that replaced legacy reporting to one trusted analytics platform for 40+ users across the business.

2. Unified data pipelines that bring together retail, Amazon, Direct-to-Consumer, professional, and distributors data.

3. Governed data models and mapping for products, customers, and store-to-territory relationships, with loading checks and clear error flags.

4. Decision-first dashboards that are simple and clean.
- Executive dashboard: One screen that brings together product, channel, store, and trend views so anyone can spot what matters fast.

- Product insights: Compare revenue and units with the prior year, highlight the top ten products with filters for brand, channel, and retailer, and start at the parent product level with attributes like type, brand and price.

- Channel & Store insights: See mix of business, channel rankings, top retailers, and sales versus the prior year and target, with quick drill downs to the store and territory levels.

- Time insights: Explore clear graphs of historical trends by day, week, month, and year - with the ability to drill-into anomalies.
